What projects will your gifts support?

For the Children’s Sake works to share God’s love to orphaned, vulnerable and impoverished children in Kenya and South Sudan. Our efforts focus on education as our primary way to impact lives for Christ.

  • We support Christian schools serving impoverished children throughout Kenya and South Sudan through professional development seminars for teachers and administrators.

    • Teachers and school leaders learn skills for more effective teaching, classroom management, and Christian worldview development. Teachers realize that the children are a mission field and that great academic teaching provides more opportunities for God to act in students’ lives.

    • Training teachers and school leadership results in blessings for students through enhanced academics and spiritual development.

  • Our Tenkaraki Inkera Demonstration School (which means For the Children’s Sake in Maa) brings an excellent Christ-centered education to the vulnerable, impoverished and disadvantaged children of Leboo in the desert of Maasai-land.

  • We provide nutritious breakfast and lunch to our students each day.

  • We encourage the education of girls beyond primary school by providing:

    • washable feminine hygiene products so girls can attend school every week of the month

    • community education against Female Genital Mutilation and child-marriage

  • We provide reliable clean water to the rural Maasai people of Leboo, Kenya, so children can continue in school even during droughts.

  • We bring Food Relief to the Leboo community when the 132 families are suffering from climatic crises (drought, flood).

Everything we do is “for the children’s sake”! Your gifts will support many effective ways of touching a child’s life with God’s love.
